Noel learned to ride horses while growing up in Danville, Ca. Noel credits her her parents, Hap and Nancy for her riding talents.

She started riding english jumping horses and three day eventing which lead to horse shows, rodeo's, ropings, gymkhana and the Tevis Cup "One Hundred Miles in One Day" race and finially Pro-Rodeo all by the the age of 17. She has her gold card in the Women's Pro Rodeo Association.
